Organisation

The programme is sponsored by the non-profit association Europa macht Schule e.V. and coordinated by the DAAD in Bonn. Programme implementation involves close collaboration between all those involved.

Under the umbrella of the non-profit association Europa macht Schule e.V. (in German only), volunteer location teams are currently running the programme at different locations throughout the whole of Germany. Location teams promote the programme among international students and provide support for them throughout the year.

The programme is coordinated professionally by the German Academic Exchange Service e.V. (DAAD – in German only) in Bonn. DAAD staff and Europa macht Schule e.V. volunteers support the location teams in their work.

Association volunteers and the DAAD also collaborate closely on the conceptual orientation of the programme and future activities.

The programme is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
